LM69 launches at Concours of Elegance, Hampton Court, London

Members of the design, engineering and manufacturing team at the public launch event at Hampton Court, London

After nearly 2 years of hard work, the Ecurie Ecosse LM69 was revealed publicly for the first time at Concours of Elegance, Hampton Court on 6th September. The car was displayed next to the recreation of the XJ13 and an example of the car’s engine.

Before the car could be launched to the public, the LM69 attended a private launch event on May 6th at the annual Ecurie Ecosse rally, staged over 3 days in Scotland. This year the rally headquarters were based at Achnagairn Castle, Inverness. The exclusive event was attended by Ecurie Ecosse patrons, family and friends of the brand. The car launch was a secret and only the McCaig family knew the LM69 would be there. When the cover was pulled off the mystery car, the crowd was understandably surprised. The enthusiasm that followed by passionate Team Scotland lovers boded well for the public launch 4 months later.
